As postdocs, you are in a unique position where you are navigating a more complex relationship with your primary faculty mentor and providing mentorship to others in your research group or department. This program uses an evidence-based curriculum that reflects this dual role developed by the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research. It is effective in improving your relationship with both mentors and mentees.

Each mentorship training session lasts 3 hours and will meet July 23 and 24 from 9 am – 12 pm. You must attend both sessions in order to receive a completion certificate. The interactive format consists of learning mentoring skills through case studies in small and large group discussions. Each session is led by a facilitator who has completed the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) implementation training.
