Get Involved with the WashU Postdoc Society! Are you interested in gaining leadership and team-building experience? The Washington University Postdoc Society (WUPS) is seeking current postdocs to get involved!

Why should you get involved with WUPS?

  • Meet new people and work to improve our postdoctoral experience
  • Be an advocate for your fellow postdocs, especially those from other countries, who may benefit from your knowledge and experiences
  • Master leadership and soft skills (organizational, meeting management, etc.) by serving on committees
  • Interact with administrators and faculty
  • Add leadership and team-building experience to your CV/resume

The WU Postdoc Society is governed by a set of bylaws (originally ratified in December 2005) and the group is managed by the Executive Council. All are welcome to attend the Executive Council meetings! They are held on the first Thursday of each month at 9 am in Becker Medical Library Conference Room 400 and quarterly on the Danforth Campus. To officially join the Executive Council, please fill out this Letter of Intent and send it to Mohini Sengupta, WUPS President. Direct any questions about the WU Postdoc Society to postdocsociety@wustl.edu.
