Some former postdocs’ career outcomes:I am a relatively new PI and have only recently started working with postdocs. Until recently, my lab primarily was made of research assistants (technicians right after college, without any graduate experience). I have regularly published with my research assistants, and they have been fantastic! Currently we have 2 research assistants, and 2 postdocs at the lab.
