It’s never too early to start planning your career in light of your immigration potential. Effective Career and Immigration Planning for International Scholars is a 7-week professional development program addressing the intersection of career exploration and immigration education.
During the program, participants strategically plan for professional development goals that satisfy the immigration criteria for permanent residence. Supported by peer mentoring groups, participants gain accountability and a community while they execute their strategic plan to meet long-term career success in the U.S.
Your goals in the program
- Plan your professional and immigration development along with a group
- Crowdsource questions that can be addressed to immigration attorneys
- Draft your CV and other documents needed for your immigration petition
- Take charge of your own progress, and provide and receive emotional support
You will get the most out of this program if you are already considering applying for permanent residence. However, whatever your current training stage or immigration status is, you should start planning next steps to strengthen your immigration potential. We will help you uncover the hidden curriculum of career-immigration planning.
