The OPA strives to be an advocate for postdoctoral researchers and postdoctoral issues, to create and provide training and career development opportunities for postdoctoral researchers, to be a central resource for information regarding postdoctoral training, and to assist in the development of a diverse community of postdoctoral researchers.
